Your local electric cooperative and its employees are part of the fabric that makes up the community.

To play an active role in the community is an honor and a privilege for your local electric cooperative. Whether it's offering electrical safety presentations and information to schools and clubs. Or, offering fundraising opportunities for charitable and scholastic organizations, sponsoring F.F.A., fairs, or civic activities. And, donating time, money and other resources through the employee managed "Giving Heart" program, your electric co-op is proud to contribute to a better quality of life enjoyed by everyone in the area.

Electrical Safety is the most important concern at your electric cooperative. Your co-op is committed to communicate the importance of electrical safety in and around our member's homes and businesses.

One way your cooperative "gets the message out" is by providing free electrical safety demonstrations and information. Schools, businesses, fire departments and many other organizations have used these demonstrations for educating all ages of people on the importance of electrical safety. Your cooperative invites you to host a presentation for your organization or school. Brochures, coloring books and other electrical safety information is available by calling 1-888-835-9585 or by requesting them using the On-line Service Center.

The employees of your cooperative have assembled a program that provides such support, during those times when it's needed most. "The Giving Heart" is a program that has provided thousands of dollars of assistance to individuals and families around the area that have faced a traumatic event in their life.

The "Giving Heart" program is managed by the employees at each of the co-op's three offices. Stories in local newspapers, word-of-mouth and an occasional tip from a member are just some of the ways that employees hear about the
